JB Markham Investments, LLC’s vertical integration, enables it to better control design, costs and the quality of work performed. With our roots in engineering, design, and construction we bring economic and effective design with financial and cost controls. Our organization and its affiliates can effectively manage all aspects of the real estate investment cycle: acquisitions, finance and capital markets, design management, construction, procurement, and property management.

Development

The Managing Principals and Advisors of JB Markham have a combined 70+ years of real estate, design, and construction experience in a broad spectrum of multifamily and residential investments. This ranges from high-rise apartment and condominium construction, adaptive reuse of industrial and office space, to single family homes. Our corporate experience includes working at development industry leaders such as Hines, Related Companies and The Morgan Group. In addition our construction expertise includes working with industry giants Turner Construction Company, Gilbane Building Company, and Swinerton Builders, Inc.

Acquisition

Through affiliations with commercial real estate brokers and sales professionals, the Investment Manager’s principals and employees gain access to valuable market intelligence across multiple regions, including nationwide connections that regularly present new investment opportunities to our team.

Finance and Capital Markets

The experience of JB Markham with capital markets affords access to a broad spectrum of lenders and institutions for acquisition, improvement, and long-term financing. By optimizing the use of debt and equity, JB Markham is able to increase potential investment returns.

Design Management

Design management bridges the business requirements of the investments with the architectural and engineering design.  Design management is a comprehensive activity involving numerous disciplines including strategic management, communication, built environment, operations and branding to name some of the disciplines incorporated into the design of a project.

 Construction

JB Markham Investments LLC performs construction planning and execution with its affiliated company Cimarron Construction Advisors & Construction Managers (Cimarron). Operating Since 2014 Cimarron performs planning, budgeting, and project execution. In addition, Cimarron’s design-management ensures the designers are producing cost efficient, maintainable, and sustainable properties, which will attract quality tenants and retain value.

Property Management

Property Management is performed by Redic LLC, an affiliate of JB Markham. Established in 2016, Redic LLC has performed all aspects of property management, from assistance in acquisitions, to leasing, maintaining, and sale.

Benjamin Markham

CEO
Benjamin Markham brings broad experience in Real Estate, Program and Project Management, as well as Executive and Operations Management.
With over 45 years of industry experience, he has led project teams for numerous projects including hospitality, corporate parks, solar energy, defense, and the US government. He also has grown and increased profitability of organizations through building revenue, client base and developing personnel.
He earned his MBA from the Southern New Hampshire University Graduate School of Business, and his BS in Civil Engineering Technology / Construction Management from the University of Houston with a minor in Biochemistry. Ben is a LEED accredited professional and a past member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Robert Barnett

Robert Barnett

Robert Barnett is an accomplished Development and Construction Executive with over 25 years of experience leading high-end/high-volume developments and production. As a consultant to Fortune 50 companies, he has directed the construction of over 4,000 multifamily units, successfully guiding multi-acre projects from conception to completion.
Robert has diverse experience budgeting, managing stakeholders, assessing & monitoring risks, negotiating best value contracts, scheduling production, controlling costs, and achieving unparalleled production. A dedicated leader who stimulates innovation, encouraging unique approaches, and achieving team successes.
Robert brings leadership and organizational skills from his career in the US Navy.
Patrick Gallagher

Patrick Gallagher, AIA

ADVISOR
Patrick Gallagher is a registered architect with experience in design, construction, and property management. His expertise includes multifamily, residential, and commercial office spaces.
In addition to architectural expertise, Patrick is well versed in code and compliance. His business experience in resolving complex building challenges is invaluable to the Fund’s assessment and work on investment properties.
Patrick is a graduate of Drexel University and AIA registered Architect in New Jersey.
